Our family knows only too well, that even with the incredible advances in cancer treatments we still have a long way to go. This is especially the case for pancreatic cancer. I lost Mum in July 2017, just 7 months after diagnosis and after what appeared to be "early detection" and a successful Whipple 12-hour operation to remove the tumour.
Any of you who knew Mum would know that if anyone could win a battle it would be her - that is the problem with Pancreatic cancer - only 10.7% will survive.
We know that research and funded clinical trials are the only way to increase early detection, raise awareness of this disease and ultimately find a cure.
As Mum can’t be here to celebrate our marriage we would like to remember her by helping others.
Brad and I would like to thank you for your support. You can donate to the GI Cancer Institute in our name here.
Much love
Jane
